Come celebrate the McQuilkin family birthdays at Marin’s legendary Rancho Nicasio nightclub on Sunday, Jan 18th. Alexander McQuilkin turns 35 on the 17th and his Mom, Grandpa Wally, and Cousin Nolan all have their birthdays the same week. This special show will benefit the San Geronimo Valley Community Center’s Arts and Events programs which features Michael McQuilkin’s annual Family Music Hour show. Enjoy great music, food, and dancing to the sounds of the West Marin’s All-Stars with vocalist Tealy Gapinski and sax man Kevin Frazier.

Jerry’s Middle Finger is a family of music-makers born from a deep collective love of all-things Jerry Garcia. Established in 2015, JMF has quickly become a spiritual destination for those searching for “the sound”, yearning for that unspoken feeling when the sweet soaring song lifts you off your feet and sends you dancing through the stars.

A distinguished songwriter and entertainer, Jerry Hannan recorded his own song, “Society” with Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder, which is featured in Sean Penn’s film Into the Wild.  “I Thought I Was You”, written by Jerry and brother Sean Hannan also plays in Into the Wild.

Keystone Revisited was bought together because of the huge demand from fans to hear more music from the originators of the so-called ‘Jam Band.’ When Merl Saunders and Jerry Garcia got together it was pure magic. They were in these groups; Merl Saunders and Jerry Garcia, Reconstruction and Legion of Mary, which were at the forefront of the jam band era. Jeff Pevar who has played with Phil Lesh and Friends and Jazz is Dead. The album will be performed in it’s entirety as well as selections from the Dead, Legion of Mary and other Garcia solo material.

Wreckless Strangers is a collective of friends and musicians carrying the torch for San Francisco’s grand rock ‘n’ roll tradition. Their unique blend of “Ameri-Cali Soul” melds the contemporary blues stylings of Bonnie Raitt and Boz Scaggs; the songwriting sensibilities of Sons of Champlin and Fleetwood Mac; the swashbuckling Americana of the Lost Planet Airmen and Peter Rowan; and the funk of Sly Stone and Tower of Power with a dash of Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane for flavor and unpredictability. With soaring vocal harmonies and burning instrumental improvisation framed in concise and poignant original songwriting, Wreckless Strangers seek to honor and carry forth the brand of free-spirited musical fun and adventure that defines the Bay Area.

GAS MONEY- Rancho Debut!

Born from pure drive and a love of rock and roll, GasMoney is a four-piece band from Sonoma County, California, blending classic rock grit with modern groove. Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Cheyenne Vincent and rounded out by Gavin Lee (guitar), AJ (bass), and Nick Carico (drums), the band delivers high-energy, groove-heavy rock influenced by legends like Led Zeppelin, TOOL, and Deftones. The band officially re-formed in February 2025, carrying the name forward as a symbol of persistence and growth. With radio play on The Krush and notable collaborations under their belt, GasMoney is building momentum as they prepare for their debut album and aim for bigger stages ahead.

Eric Lindell brings his original brand of American roots music to Rancho Nicasio for one night with his band the West Side Summer league

The LoWatters are Ethan Okamura, Steve Trivelpiece, and Jason Loeks. The band formed in the fall of 2014 and almost immediately started performing intimate shows near their home in Northern California. In the summer of 2015 they recorded their debut album live at Skywalker Sound. The album was voted by the Marin Independent Journal as one of the top 10 local albums of 2016 . Their sound ranges from the high lonesome twang to the low down dirty roots and is inspired by classic Americana singer songwriters while still retaining a unique sound all of it’s own.
