Eric Lindell brings his original brand of American roots music to Rancho Nicasio for one night with his band the West Side Summer league

The LoWatters are Ethan Okamura, Steve Trivelpiece, and Jason Loeks. The band formed in the fall of 2014 and almost immediately started performing intimate shows near their home in Northern California. In the summer of 2015 they recorded their debut album live at Skywalker Sound. The album was voted by the Marin Independent Journal as one of the top 10 local albums of 2016 . Their sound ranges from the high lonesome twang to the low down dirty roots and is inspired by classic Americana singer songwriters while still retaining a unique sound all of it’s own.

A distinguished songwriter and entertainer, Jerry Hannan recorded his own song, “Society” with Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder, which is featured in Sean Penn’s film Into the Wild.  “I Thought I Was You”, written by Jerry and brother Sean Hannan also plays in Into the Wild.

Take some influence from B.B. King, Albert King, Ray Charles, and a pinch of Albert Collins. Add in dazzling blues and jazz guitar chops, a rich soulful baritone vocal delivering original, often wry and beleaguered lyrics with sophisticated chord changes and instrumentation, and skills on various horns and keyboards, all delivered with an uptown cool that never lacks searing passion. It all adds up to the one and only Chris Cain, who has gone from being a newcomer phenomenon bursting onto the blues scene in 1987 with a classic debut release, to being a legend, inspiration and long-established member of the blues pantheon.

Essence & Gold Country draw from deep roots in Appalachian, Americana, and classic Country traditions, with songwriting influenced by legends like John Prine, Dolly Parton, and Lucinda Williams.Essence’s voice has been compared to Emmylou Harris and Dolly herself. Her songs have appeared in film and TV, and she has shared stages with Sheryl Crow, The Old Crow Medicine Show, and Tom Petty.

EL CAJON is an American Indie Rock band from San Francisco, formed in 2016. Three parts California, two parts South Africa and one part Texas, the band members are RJ Holmberg (Guitar and Lead vocals), June Holmberg (Keys, accordion and backing vocals), Michael Rennie (Violin and backing vocals), Martin Ledyard (Bass and backing vocals), Kyle Hermans (Drums, percussion and backing vocals) and David Gilmour (Keyboards and Accordion)

The sound is an eclectic electric love child: the product of an affair between Jimi Hendrix and The Funky Meters, after a long night of drinking with space aliens and jamming to Bob on the jukebox. MHP delivers a volcanic performance of energetic funk and slinky soul with a psychedelic twist and a chili salt rim. The mission: to create an uplifting dance experience spun full of twists and turns, interlaced with conscious reflective lyrics and sizzling solos expanding, contracting and alive, like a universe unto itself.
