Kevin Russell & his So Called Friends… is a group that plays an eclectic blend of acoustic music. Americana, or roots music, is a term given to music that seeks to blend elements of blues, swing jazz, folk, country, bluegrass and even a little acoustic rock. And that exactly what they’re up to.

Johnny Cash and June Carter were well known performers before meeting, and like their predecessors, Danny Evans and Essence of ‘Johnny & June Forever’ are also seasoned artists in their own rights.
