DESCRIPTION:ROBERT POWELL- Rancho Debut!\n\nAfter a long hiatus\, ever-intrepid Marin County musician\, producer\, singer-songwriter Robert M. Powell plays Rancho Nicasio accompanied by a stellar group of Bay Area musicians and special guests. Deeply rooted in traditional American musical forms\, Powell’s songs also incorporate styles from around the globe\, often infused with otherworldly atmospherics. Many of his songs having been released under the band name Everett Tree (check it out!) with a new record slated for release in early 2026.\nPowell has worked with a diverse array of artists\, including Sachiko Kanenobu\, Airto Moreira and Flora Purim\, Ustad Salamat Ali Khan\, Deva Premal\, Clothesline Revival and Kingfish. Through his work with Amnesty International he has produced and performed on recordings by Peter Gabriel\, Richie Havens\, Jackson Browne and others.\nAs a composer he has scored numerous films and television programs.\nHe continues to follow the muse.
